FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST
This is a Techno/Functional position
Job Description:
Provide support to Financial Process.
support Financial to system Everest SAP (3.1H) or STRIPES (ECC 6.0 or 4.0B) or GEMS (4.6C)
responsible for implementing the basic global Financial Design as developed in STRIPES (ECC 6.0) while configuring or customizing the system to meet any predefined functionality gaps or region-specific business processes.
Capable of using SAP Support Portal as a source of correction for reported problems.
Provides consultation to program development resources regarding program development and corrections.
Performs integral testing of problem corrections, changes and enhancements, from Unit Individual tests through User Acceptance.
Maintains batch job variants.
Capable to develop Functional Specification based on user requirements.
Develop system or work procedure documentation.
Perform Knowledge Transfer to technical team mates or end-user.
Skill Requirement:
Speak, read and write English fluently.
University degree
Experience with multiple SAP releases including 3.1H, 4.0B, 4.6C and ECC 6.0 is desired.
Knowledge of SAP functionality including: IMG Special Ledger configuration; Foreign Currency Valuation Process and configuration; Inventory Management; Inventory Valuation methods: LIFO, FIFO, WAC; Movement types; Account determination; COGS (Cost of Good Sold); Accounting Flows; Interface between SD and FI; Pricing; Margin Analysis; SAP Archiving objects; DART process is desired; Debug ABAP programs - mandatory skill; Develop functional specifications; P&L, Balance, PCA Reports, CO-PA Reports; Program Variant maintenance;. Maintain customized tables; Month-end close process / Year-end close process; Strong understanding of User Exits; Report Painter / Report Writer knowledge is desired; Change Transport System to move changes to production; Process BDC sessions; Create / Change Batch Jobs; Batch Jobs interface processing; OSS notes analysis / implementation; Course work and/or experience with basic accounting principles.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Ability to work remotely from other team members, internal service providers and customers.
Ability to work with less experienced analysts in order to develop SAP problem solving, support and technical skills.
Strong analytical capability in order to comprehend and support complex processes based on standard SAP configuration as well as customizations.
